Shalonna Battle is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Originally from Ft. Myers, Florida, she graduated and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida Memorial University. She continued her education and received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Miami and then completed a Master’s degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She is Board Certified through the National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Shalonna has served her community as a health care provider in multiple capacities. She worked as a clinician for Planned Parenthood where she provided exceptional gynecological care to women from all phases of the lifespan. Prior to advance practice, she worked as an Obstetrical Registered Nurse for Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She served as an adjunct maternity nursing professor at City College (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and Orion College (Plantation, Florida). Shalonna has co-chaired multiple adolescent health and sexuality workshops with the Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Shalonna is a member of the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health Association, The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nursing, and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is the author and creator of Healthy InspHERations, an inspirational Women’s Health Blog. Shalonna has a passion for Women’s Health and it is manifested through the care she provides to her patients.
